When DeKalb School District #428 attempted to get the approval of a $55 million referendum last Spring, I was certain they were going to fail. I voted against it and I was confident that I was voting with the majority. Far too often the answers to questions of how the money would be spent would be made clear only after the referendum passed.
The voters made their response to those kind of answers very clear.
I don't know which way voters are going to respond to Dist 428's request for the approval of their $39.8 million referendum this November. Perhaps that is because I still don't know how I am going to vote this time.
I suppose I will wait to hear the answers that are asked for before I decide.
So... I'd love to hear what others are thinking. Are the answers sufficient? Which way are you leaning? What questions would you like answered?
